ORBCOMM relocates New Jersey corporate headquarters to new site


Feb 18, 2013 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- ORBCOMM Inc (Nasdaq:ORBC), a satellite data communications company specialising in two-way Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications, announced on Friday the relocation of its corporate headquarters from Fort Lee, New Jersey to Rochelle Park, New Jersey on Tuesday.



The company is leasing over 31,000 square feet at the office complex, Mack-Cali Centre V, in Rochelle Park, New Jersey. It will be combining the corporate offices at Fort Lee, New Jersey and the StarTrak facilities in Morris Plains, New Jersey and will be able to accommodate the company's future growth plans. StarTrak employees are expected to relocate to the new facility in the second quarter.

According to ORBCOMM, this new facility will allow it to bring together key management and sales and engineering capabilities for a more efficient and effective use of resources, while it executes on its growth initiatives and prepares for the launch of its next generation satellites.
