Cisco Announces HealthPresence 2.5 Cisco HealthPresence 2.5, announced today, offers a software-driven version of Cisco HealthPresence . Cisco HealthPresence 2.5 is a telehealth collaboration platform that addresses the needs of healthcare organizations by providing a mechanism for delivering healthcare to a greater number of patients and enables customers to build a scalable and flexible telehealth network that can enhance productivity and improve clinical workflows.

Cisco HealthPresence 2.5 includes new features designed to make it easier and more cost-effective for customers to implement a customized telehealth solution. These features include: - Standards-based connectivity to third party medical devices - Enables the quick and seamless connection of driverless USB, S-Video and composite based medical devices.
