Now, when making changes to the main site, all updates automatically translate to the mobile-designed pages as well. The digital agency approached the Gardens' mobile strategy by first looking to analytics, with analytics, to find the pages most accessed by mobile users. From there, page designs specific for mobile users were created, including the following: a "Top 5 Picks" page with daily changes for the most visited or most recent upcoming events; an information page with admission information, locations, hours, parking and membership pricing; and a calendar that pulls in upcoming art exhibits and events for direct information and easy access. Elevated Third and Denver Botanic Gardens welcome the mobile site with arms wide, as the decision to optimize its site for mobile users has been part of the Gardens' long-term digital strategy since early 2011. Previously this year, Elevated Third redeveloped the entire back end of the Gardens website to better accommodate the diverse and extensive amount of content that lives on the site. This redevelopment enabled the Gardens to finally implement mobile-designed pages and seamlessly integrate them into the site's structure.
