Optus, Vodafone lag behind Telstra on emergency alertsJan 03, 2013 (The Age - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Since 23 November 2012, mobile telephone subscribers of Telstra can receive emergency warnings based on satellite technology, in case of floods, bushfires or similar disasters.
