Boulder weather: High winds today with a chance of snow Tuesday

Today's forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with a high near 55 and winds 24 to 31 mph with gusts as high as 43. The overnight low is expected to be near 28 with winds 11 to 17 mph with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Tuesday's forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high near 42 and winds 8 to 13 mph with gusts as high as 18 mph. There is a 10 percent chance of snow.


The overnight low is expected to be near 18 with winds 5 to 10 mph and gusts as high as 15 mph. There is a 50 percent chance of snow after 11 p.m., with accumulation of 1 to 2 inches of new snow possible.

Wednesday's forecast calls for cloudy skies with a high near 24 and winds 7 yo 16 mph with gusts as high as 24 mph. There is a 60 percent chance of snow before 11 a.m. The overnight low is expected to be near 8, with a 10 percent chance of snow before 11 p.m.
