EE Times and EDN Issue Call for Annual ACE Awards NominationsDec 04, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- EE Times and EDN, part of UBM Tech's portfolio of essential business and technical information for design engineers and the electronics industry, announced the call for nominations for the 2013 ACE Awards competition, which honors the people and technologies that have made a difference in the electronics industry. "The ACE Awards allow us to recognize the people and companies behind the technologies shaping the electronics industry," said Kathy Astromoff, CEO, Electronics, UBM Tech. "We're excited to review all the outstanding and innovative entries. I have no doubt that it will be a tough job to pick winners in each of the categories." According to a release, the ACE Awards will feature several returning categories plus seven new categories that recognize the changing landscape of the engineering industry. ACE award winners will be unveiled at an awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at The Sainte Claire Hotel San Jose, CA during Design West and ESC Silicon Valley.
