NetCracker TOMS Solution Upgrade to Improve Videotron's Infrastructure ManagementWALTHAM, Mass. --(Business Wire)-- NetCracker Technology announced today that Videotron (News - Alert), a leading Canadian telecommunications provider, has chosen to upgrade its current TOMS (Telecom Operations and Management Solution) software to the latest NetCracker (News - Alert) release. NetCracker's professional services team will deliver the upgrade and provide Videotron with new and improved capabilities to more efficiently manage its network infrastructure. Upgrading to the latest NetCracker release will enable Videotron to improve its network mapping and maximize its capacity utilization of network resources, including both physical assets and logical connections. This enhanced functionality will drive operational efficiency at the same time that it reduces the overall cost of operating and maintaining Videotron's network.
