Education software developer releases new ProFile Planner [Winston-Salem Journal, N.C.]

(Winston-Salem Journal (NC) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Nov. 15--iActive Learning LLC recently introduced the newest version of its Kaplan ProFile Planner at the National Association for the Education of Young Children annual conference in Atlanta, Ga.

iActive Learning, based in Winston-Salem, is an educational software developer.

The Kaplan ProFile Planner is an online lesson planning tool for early childhood educators that combines a planner with the Internet to help users create lesson plans. Teachers can electronically plan their entire curriculum by the day, month or school year.

The planner can be activated on all PC and Mac computers, the iPhone, iPad, SMART table, digital whiteboard, Apple TV and Android tablets.

Blair Ingle, the chief executive of iActive Learning, said that the improvements to the planner make the program easier to use than in the past.

iActive Learning's sister company, Once Upon an App, debuted two new educational applications at this year's NAEYC conference -- The Oxford Press First Words and The Learn Every Day Series applications.
