Verian Launches Major Software Release with New User Interface

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) November 09, 2012 Verian, the leader in universal purchasing and invoice processing systems, has launched Version 11.1 of its purchase-to-pay software suite, featuring a new and improved user interface.

The new user interface (UI) is designed to enhance and streamline the user experience across all Verian applications. Verian recently completed a walk-through of the new UI with a number of top customers, who all reacted positively to the enriched look and feel, as well as the improved usability of the system.

Verian began deploying the new UI to cloud (SaaS) customers last week.

“Refreshing our UI is a major theme for Verian over the next few months,” said Ganesh Sundaresan, Senior Product Manager for Verian, “Starting with the dashboard and navigation, customers will notice several helpful changes in Version 11.1 that make their Verian software more intuitive and easier to use.” For example, users will immediately notice that Verian has refreshed the home screen and application navigation, making it simpler to locate, access and act on what they need. Newly configurable widgets and task bars make it possible to limit a user’s view to show only tasks, tabs and metrics relevant to them.

Based on the available view, new “quick access panels” provide users with convenient “one-click” access to key activities like searching catalogs, connecting with vendors, issuing free-form requests, buying from favorites, or submitting a check request.

As users make their initial selections, quick access panels continue to open up to offer easy access to additional options, reducing the need for extra clicks, and the need to visit additional pages. This simplified navigation enables users to process key purchase-to-pay activities much more quickly and without any training.

Verian plans to roll out the additional UI enhancements over the next few months. Phase one enhances the dashboard and navigation. Additional phases provide comparable enhancements to administration screens, shopping processes and shopping carts, requesting and approval, receiving and purchasing, and other remaining areas.

“User adoption is a key component for companies considering purchasing and invoice processing software,” said Tehseen Ali Dahya, President and CEO of Verian, “the goal of Verian’s UI refresh project is to build an easy to use, intuitive, scalable user interface that helps our customers around the world adopt Verian solutions fast and with minimal training.” About Verian Verian is the leader in universal purchasing and invoice processing systems.
