VTV America to Launch on MHz in DC


FALLS CHURCH, VA, Jul 27, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- VTV America will launch on MHz Networks 11 in the Washington, DC metro area on August 1.

VTV America will feature Vietnamese, English, French, Russian and Chinese language television programming featuring Vietnamese culture, news, sports, educational, travel, business news, world news and general entertainment.

Viewers will be able to watch the channel on digital broadcast channel 30.11.

VTV 4 programming in Vietnamese will also expand its availability locally on MHz Networks 1 in the Washington, DC area. On weekdays, VTV programming will be on air from 12 to 3AM ET, from 8:30 to 10AM and another block from 1:30 to 4PM. During the weekend, audiences can watch VTV programs from 5 to 9AM ET.



MHz Networks 1 is available on digital broadcast channel 30.1, Comcast 271, Cox 470, RCN 30, Verizon FiOS 451, Dish Network 8077 and DirecTV 56.

Nationally, VTV will be available to viewers on MHz Worldview daily from 11 AM - NOON ET.
