Forbes Names Cbeyond One of the "Best Companies for Job Offers" with Highest Integrity Rating

Cbeyond, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBEY), a leading provider of IT and communications services to small businesses, has been named No. 5 on Forbes' list of the "Best Companies for Job Offers." The rankings recognize publicly traded companies with at least 1,000 employees, a history of steadily rising payrolls and the prospect of strong top-line growth.

Cbeyond (News - Alert) placed fifth on Forbes' list of 16 businesses with the highest integrity ranking, a 97 out of 100 according to Audit Integrity, and a 23 percent employment growth during the past five years.

Forbes Investment Strategies Editor William Baldwin described the moral behind the list as, "When you are shopping for a job, don't just look at the salary and the benefits. Do some financial digging, the way a stock analyst would."

In constructing the list, Forbes evaluated public companies along the following criteria:

• Companies must have at least 1,000 employees.
• Companies must have maintained a five percent or better annual employee count increase during the past five years, without a year-to-year rate dip higher than 10 percent.
• Companies must have received a consensus Wall Street forecast for five percent or better annual top-line growth during the next three to five years.
• Companies must have received a top-quartile rating from Audit Integrity, which grades businesses on factors such as transparency and corporate governance.
