China working on unified national IOT strategic planBEIJING, Jul 05, 2010 (Xinhua via COMTEX) -- China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) will vigorously promote the formulation of a unified national strategic plan on Internet of Things (IOT), according to Xi Guohua, vice minister of MIIT. Xi made the remarks at the recent 2010 China Internet of Things conference. According to Xi, MIIT will fix a clear positioning, development goals, timetable and roadmap of IOT industry. It will make unified arrangement of IOT's basic technology, research and development, industrialization and application of network. It will strengthen policy supports to IOT, including financial and taxation measures. (Edited by Han Bing) |
