TMC and Crossfire Media to Host M2M Evolution ConferenceJun 24, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- TMC and Crossfire Media announced that their M2M Evolution Conference will once again be collocated with TMC's ITExpo, October 4-6, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This is the third and largest M2M Evolution Conference staged since the event's launch in 2009. The M2M Evolution Conference, which is sponsored by Telit Wireless Solutions and The CDMA Development Group (CDG), embraces the "any-to-any" strategy of the Internet. It showcases the solutions, and examines the data strategies and technological requirements that enterprises and carriers need to capitalize on a market segment that is estimated to grow to $300 billion in the year ahead. M2M Evolution will begin on Monday, October 4th with a pre-conference workshop presented by the CDG. A full day of conference sessions are scheduled for Tuesday, October 5th - focusing on the latest technologies, regulatory issues and trends in Machine-to-Machine technology, including: -How M2M helps carriers improve business intelligence and cultivate new revenue opportunities -Vertical Applications -Sensors, Monitors, MXML and RFID -M2M for Medical -M2M for Energy, Oil & Gas -M2M for Shipping and Transportation -M2M enabled advertising, including digital signage and mobile barcodes Additional sessions remain in development.
