Huawei to Roll out TD-SCDMA Data Cards Next YearBEIJING, Dec 22, 2008 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. is set to launch a series of TD-SCDMA data cards in 2009 to suit demand from telecoms operator China Mobile Limited (SEHK: 0941 and NYSE: CHL), announces the Shenzhen-headquartered telecoms equipment maker on December 22. A variety of data cards based on the nation's homegrown TD-SCDMA technology will be rolled out to facilitate TD-SCDMA users' access to the high-speed 3G network and help consolidate growth for the TD-SCDMA network operator in the 3G era, said Chen Chongjun, director for Huawei terminal marketing and engineering department.
