BroadSoft CEO to Keynote INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO West 2008


NORWALK, Conn. --(Business Wire)-- Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC(R)) announced today that Michael Tessler, President & CEO of BroadSoft, Inc., will deliver a keynote address at its INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO West 2008 (ITEXPO), to be held from Sept. 16-18, 2008 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.



Tessler's address, which is open to all registered attendees, will take place Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, at 3 p.m. (PDT). Registration for the conference is now open at http://www.itexpo.com.

ITEXPO, held since 1999, is the world's largest and best-attended communications trade show. Featuring three days of educational sessions, featured speakers, networking events and exhibit hall interaction, the event is expected to attract more than 7,000 attendees.

As a member of the senior staff, he participated in the business strategy, helped manage the business day-to-day activities and led business development activities in China.

Prior to Alcatel, Tessler held numerous senior management roles at Nortel, and he founded and led a services development business unit that helped local exchange carriers build and deploy advanced services on their digital networks. He holds two patents in the area of local switching, AIN and advanced call management services, and was a recent winner of an Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year award. Tessler received his bachelor's and master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
