Cisco's Broadband Wireless Gateway solution is a key part of the solution and part of the company's WiMAX offering, providing WiMAX Access Service Network (ASN) gateway functionality. Nokia is providing its expertise in mobility, along with an Internet Tablet which is compatible with WiMAX 2.5GHz. Monaco Telecom said the WiMAX strategy and network architecture are necessary for it to maintain its competitive position as a global operator and maximise WiMAX capabilities.
