Alltel Wireless has introduced The Wave by LG with a rolling design that mimics the curl of a wave and with deep colors that fade into black.

Available exclusively at Alltel Wireless retail stores and shopalltel.com, The Wave includes a 1.3 MP camera with video capabilities, MP3 player with external controls, expandable memory slot, Bluetooth technology and is GPS capable.

LG’s new device also comes preloaded with Alltel Axcess features such as Axcess TV and Axcess Search. Through Alltel’s Axcess Shop customers can also download games, ringtones and more.

Wade McGill, senior vice president of wireless products and services, for Alltel said that with its sleek design, The Wave is a fashionable option to stay connected.

“Alltel Wireless is excited to introduce another phone to our lineup that provides our customers with the best in form and function,” said McGill in a statement.

With The Wave customers have the ability to personalize their phone with features such as Jump Music, free software. These features enable customers to transfer music files from Celltop and their personal computers. Celltop is a patent-pending technology that offers customers an easier way to access, manage and organize a wide range of information.

The Wave can be purchased for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. The company is offering the discounted price for new customers on two-year service agreements, as well as existing eligible customers on qualifying rate plans.

Customers purchasing The Wave and are on a qualifying calling plan can join “My Circle,” an Alltel’s exclusive feature allowing them to choose who they call for free – any 10 numbers, any network. The comapny also offers Anytime Plan Changes, providing customers the flexibility to change their calling plans at any time, without extending their current contract.
