VoIP Logic LLC, a provider of hosted and managed VoIP applications, this week announced the addition of new, “best of breed” systems into its core Class 5 VoIP network platform.

Seamless integration is now included for Covergence’s Eclipse access-edge session border controller (aSBC) and Iperia's unified messaging solution.

“Both of these additions enhance the powerful suite of systems that VoIP Logic delivers as the best outsource solution for carriers as they roll-out or transition to a VoIP offering,” said Micah Singer, CEO at VoIP Logic, in a statement. “We’re very pleased to be working closely with industry leaders such as Covergence and Iperia.”

Covergence’s Eclipse aSBC combines traditional session-border-control functionality with comprehensive security features and management tools. Eclipse also helps providers create new sources of revenue by expanding service portfolios to include presence-enabled instant messaging (IM), audio, video, multimedia conferencing, click-to-dial and many other services.

“As service providers and enterprises start deploying VoIP and other real-time services, they are quickly discovering that the ability to scale, secure and manage them is essential,” said Bob O'Neil, CEO and president at Covergence, in a statement. “By integrating our Eclipse access-edge session border control solution with VoIP Logic's platform we are helping organizations quickly and cost-effectively deploy these services.”

Iperia’s ActivEdge software helps users with a scalable and high-performance solution for a full range of enhanced services.

“We are pleased to partner with VoIP Logic in its aggressive strategy to bring the best outsource solution to carriers,” said Chris Poer, Vice President of Sales at Iperia, in a statement. “The combination of Iperia's ActivEdge application with VoIP Logic's Class 5 VoIP network platform will enhance the customers ability to build flexible, feature rich and scalable networks.”
