Genius, a Taiwan-based major IT and Consumer Electronics brand across the globe, has released the Genius Navigator 380, the latest VoIP Mouse from Genius.

A mouse with a difference, the Genius Navigator 380 has an impressive and modish look.

This remarkable chic mouse exhibits an extraordinary integration of mouse and Internet phone functions. The Genius VoIP Mouse software can support up to six Instant Messaging clients including Skype (News - Alert), MSN,Yahoo, GoogleTalk, QQ and AIM. These Instant Messengers can be combined into one window.

Navigator 380 boasts seven buttons for the phone functions — Phone on/off, List up/down, Volume up/down, and OK for call within the IM window.

Users can carry Genius Navigator 380 with their notebook anytime anywhere. While using Navigator 380 (featuring a 1200 dpi optical engine ) outside the office, people can handle their paper work or browse the Internet. The LED on the Navigator 380 will blink to tell them that their friend just gave them a call through Instant Messenger.

The ringing will also alert them for the incoming phone call if the PC speaker is on. Users can pick up the mouse, open it up like a clamshell mobile phone, and talk to their friend via Navigator 380.

“With the unveiling of this futuristic product, Genius Navigator 380, I hope Genius, will go a long way to mark an era of innovative products and will accentuate particularly on nextgen products in future also,” said Mr. Sandeep Ramani, country manager, KYE Systems (India) Corp. in a press release.

“In a nutshell, this revolutionary device is an absolute necessity for a frequent traveller to reduce one’s burden and increase work efficiency,” he added.
