100th Issue of TMC's INTERNET TELEPHONY Magazine to Name ‘Top 100 Voices' of IP Communications Industry

 

Norwalk, CT [August 16, 2006] —TMC, publishers of INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine, the longest-running publication dedicated to IP communications, announced today that the landmark 100th issue of INTERNET TELEPHONY will feature profiles of the ‘Top 100 Voices’ in IP Communications, as selected by their editorial team.

 

The special 100th issue will be published in October 2006 and released during TMC’s INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO West 2006 at the San Diego Convention Center. INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine, launched in February 1998, is the longest-running publication 100% dedicated to coverage of IP communications.

 

According to Rich Tehrani, TMC president and group-editor-in-chief, it is the efforts of the Top 100 Voices that have enabled the IP communications industry — and the publication  — to flourish and grow for the past nine years.

 

“Our committee looked back over the course of the last decade, and came up with 100 people who we felt should be counted among the Top 100 Voices. Some were present at the beginning. Some are newer participants in our community. The common thread among all of the Top 100 Voices is that they played a part in the birth, growth and maturity of the IP Communications market, and — carried upon the shoulders of this community — the next generation of communications will evolve to heights we have yet to imagine,” explained Tehrani.

In addition to being profiled in the magazine, the “Top 100 Voices” will be honored at a special reception hosted by Rich Tehrani during INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO West 2006 in San Diego.
