Epygi launches new QuadroFXO and 3.1 Software at INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO Fall 2005

(October 11, 2005 Plano, TX) Epygi Technologies, Ltd., a manufacturer of IP PBXs, VoIP gateways, and conference servers, announced that it will showcase its newly designed QuadroFXO and version 3.1 IP PBX software at Internet Telephony Conference and Expo Fall 2005 later this month at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Highlighting just one of its many features, the Quadro 3.1 IP PBX software will offer users enhanced functionality by providing features designed specifically for receptionists, call pickup, simplified IP phone installation, and auto configuration when connecting the QuadroFXO to Epygi IP PBX systems.

The QuadroFXO is a low cost 6-port FXO gateway that allows IP PBX users to expand the number of POTS lines that can be connected to an IP PBX system. Providing additional POTS lines for emergency calls, lifeline, and mission critical fax calls are a high priority for many small businesses.

The Quadro IP PBX 3.1 software release is a free upgrade that offers several new capabilities ideal for small and medium sized businesses. Two new favorite features are the enhanced receptionist and call pickup. “The Quadro 3.1 software extends the capabilities of our IP PBX product line enabling small business to benefit from many features that were previously only available in larger more expensive PBX systems,” says Brandon Weilbacher, Director of Product Management,

In addition to launching the 3.1 software and QuadroFXO at the INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO, Epygi Technologies has been invited to present at two TMC University sessions on October 24: Cost Justifying Your VoIP Upgrade (1:00pm) and Living With Your New IP PBX (4:00pm).

INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO, held October 24-27, 2005, is the world’s largest and best-attended VoIP trade show. Last February, the show drew over 6,200 buyers and sellers of VoIP products and services to Miami. For this upcoming October show, TMC projects total attendance to exceed 7,500.
