BlueWhaleCRM Version 2.1 Released

"Version 2 of BlueWhaleCRM takes the software to a different level than it was before. While TechWhale is no longer building on the Open-Source model of software development, the company is offering a Shared-Source version of BlueWhaleCRM. This version enables organizations to customize the product to an extent that normally, only enterprise packages allow. This flexibility comes with a price tag that is attractive to both small businesses and large enterprise organizations that require significant customization / integration.


With its departure from the Open-Source platform, BlueWhaleCRM is now able to include select third party components and technologies that were previously unavailable due to licensing restrictions. New technologies such as AJAX are integrated into the application to make the user experience richer and more productive. Additionally, being built on the .NET platform, BlueWhaleCRM's integration capabilities are endless.

BlueWhaleCRM is being offered in three versions; a runtime version, a shared source version, and a white-label version that can be customized and resold. All of the versions come with starter packs of user licenses and support. Prices start at under $900 for the runtime version which comes with 5 user licenses.

TechWhale Solutions is still supporting its previous Open-Source users but would like to convert them to the new version. With over 12,000 downloads of its Open-Source release (version 1.0), there are many companies that can benefit from the new features.
