Deployed Troops and Their Families Joined During Holidays via Webcasts by National Tour of 'Operation Best Wishes'--(Business Wire)-- Scores of military families are webcasting (via video and audio) special holiday greetings to loved ones serving overseas during the national tour of "Operation Best Wishes." The 2005 bicoastal tour opened before Thanksgiving at Marine Federal Credit Union in Jacksonville, North Carolina and Navy Federal Credit Union in Norfolk, Virginia. The tour continues this weekend at host credit unions on Naval Air Station North Island and Camp Pendleton (hosts of the 2004 debut of Operation Best Wishes), before moving on to the closing session in Pasadena on the 14th. During each recording session, families are given 10 minutes each on a high-speed webcast channel to exchange holiday greetings and cheer with their deployed family members.
