RWD Technologies Names Mary Shafer Senior Vice President of North American OperationsBALTIMORE --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 4, 2005 -- RWD Technologies, Inc. (RWD), a company that develops, implements, and supports products and services in the areas of training, consulting, and organizational performance, announced today that Mary M. Shafer has been promoted to Senior Vice President, North American Operations in RWD's Enterprise Learning Solutions group. In this position, Shafer will oversee more than 250 employees who work in the ELS business unit. Ms. Shafer formerly held the titles of Vice President of North American Operations and European Operations, respectively. While leading the European operations she spent two years developing new business for the Enterprise Learning Solutions group, cultivating and managing relationships with partners and clients throughout Europe, and overseeing operations in Belgium, Germany, and the UK. Before her European assignment, she was the Division Director for Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Operations. From initial ERP rollouts to post-"go-live" maintenance and optimization, Ms. Shafer has led projects to improve the job performance of end users at all stages of implementation.
