NCI Awarded GWAC for COMMITS NexGen Program

RESTON, Va. --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 21, 2004 -- NCI Information Systems, Inc. (NCI), a leading information technology, enterprise management, systems engineering and integration corporation, announced today that the company has been awarded a 10-year Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) with the Department of Commerce's COMMITS NexGen Program.

COMMITS NexGen is a performance-based, solutions oriented contract that has an $8 Billion dollar ceiling. Federal government customers can contract with NCI to provide a wide range of IT services anywhere in the world. NCI was one of eight winners in the Tier III category, which is designed for larger task orders. This procurement defines large task orders as those greater than $40 million in total value.
