Nanotechnology: Jobs, Money, Products and the Environment, a SofTECH Event --(Business Wire)--Experts in the emerging business of nanotechnology will gather in San Rafael, CA, on May 26 to participate in a panel, "Jobs, Money, Products and the Environment," organized by SofTECH, the not-for-profit North Bay Software and Information Technology Association. The panelists will focus on job and financial opportunities, new products and the promise of cleaner energy and air. Nanotechnology is the controlled manipulation of matter at an atomic or molecular scale. It is currently enabling new and promising industries to develop in electronics, life sciences, materials, manufacturing, photonics, tools and software/IT (such as nanoinformatics). These new industries will impact academia and the technical and professional education and training organizations that must create the necessary workforces.
