Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) and Markit Offer CDS Data

Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS), the leading comprehensive, internet-based data research service, is pleased to announce a partnership with Markit, bringing Markit's award-winning CDS and other fixed income data to WRDS clients. WRDS, a part of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, provides instant access to over 200 terabytes of data across Finance, Marketing, and Economic disciplines, making it the gold standard business intelligence tool for 30,000 users in 30 countries.

With Markit CDS, researchers will have access to history and daily pricing information on more than 10,500 composite curves covering 2,800 CDS entities. Markit's CDS data are used throughout the derivatives industry for price discovery, valuation and risk management.
