TMC Names Evolve's vServer a Cloud Computing Award Winner

Dec 10, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Evolve IP announced that TMC, a media company, has named its vServer product as a winner of the 2012 Cloud Computing Excellence Award.

In a release, the Company noted that the award, presented by Cloud Computing Magazine, recognized vServer for its ability to help businesses improve business continuity, reduce costs, and increase productivity using the cloud.

Evolve IP's vServer, a key component of The Evolved Data Center, is a premier private cloud service that organizations can access over private connectivity, just as if the servers were sitting in their own data center. That means organizations that use The Evolved Data Center's vServer eradicate on-site management, maintenance, and capital expense.

"We're thrilled that vServer has been recognized by Cloud Computing Magazine and TMC for giving organizations the stability, scalability, and cost benefits of a virtualized server while also providing the privacy and security that is typically only available to dedicated or on-premise server environments," said Scott Kinka, Chief Technology Officer for Evolve IP.

"TMC is proud to announce Evolve IP as a recipient of the second annual Cloud Computing Excellence Award," said Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC. "The award recognizes Evolve IP for its achievement in bringing innovation and excellence to the market. Specifically, vServer has demonstrated innovation as well as the ability to improve the cloud." ((Comments on this story may be sent to [email protected]))
