Global VoIP company Skype has selected Tanla Mobile, a provider of SMS, MMS, WAP and 3G services for the UK and Indian markets, to supply a mobile messaging delivery platform that will let customers use their Skype credit to send text messages from their computer to mobile phones around the world. Tanla's platform will connect to Skype SMS, which lets users connect with friends and family on their mobiles.
