SENGEX to Showcase Expanded Cyber Security Capabilities at AFCEA Cyber Symposium

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) McLean VA (PRWEB) June 19, 2014 SENGEX will introduce and demonstrate their expanded suite of cyber security solutions at the 2014 AFCEA Cyber Symposium in Baltimore on June 24th and 25th.

SENGEX will provide an interactive demonstration of their Mobile Device Detection (MDD) solution, which covers expanded cellular formats and protocols. SENGEX is also hosting DB Networks, which will provide a live demonstration of their network protection portfolio to include Intrusion Detection Security (IDS) solutions against attacks on organizations databases.

"As wireless carriers introduce newer communications protocols to allow for higher speed connection, MDD solutions also need to evolve to support detection of these protocols," said John Meincke, CEO of SENGEX. "The expanded capability in AirPatrol's ZoneDefense to detect 3G/4G LTE ensures our customers that their mobility security practices are addressing the full range of standards across WiFi and cellular communications." In addition to enhanced MDD capabilities, visitors to the SENGEX booth can see a live demo of DB Networks IDS solutions that address the need to mitigate security risks of SQL injection on networks via database attacks.

Developed for organizations that need to protect their data from advanced attacks, DB Networks offers effective countermeasures against SQL injection attacks. DB Networks IDS solutions immediately detect advanced SQL injection attacks through a patent-pending SQL behavioral analysis technology. Any rogue SQL statements are immediately identified and an alarm procedure is invoked.

"We are pleased to be partnering with SENGEX at this year's event," said Greg McNulty, VP Federal Sales, DB Networks. "Our participation and demonstration will further bolster government organizations education and understanding of SQL injection security risks often overlooked in these organizations security practices." AFCEA International Cyber Symposium will engage the key players, including the U.S. Government, the International Community, Industry and Academia, to discuss the development of robust cyberspace capabilities and partnerships.

Visitors to the AFCEA Cyber Symposium can see the demo, and learn more of the Sengex offerings at booth# 418. For registration and complete show program, visit http://www.afcea.org Registration for AFCEA West is free for military and government personnel.
