With a focus on the ways technology and AI are being used to accelerate from ideas to innovation, this year's Dell Technologies World shines the spotlight on the transformational technologies and joint innovations that will unlock new insights from data, drive productivity gains, and imagine new ways of doing business. High-performance SSDs from KIOXIA play a pivotal role in Dell's AI solutions, facilitating the rapid data ingestion and retrieval essential for training LLM models. These models are crucial for driving the widespread adoption of generative AI and powering a wide array of other AI applications that would otherwise be hindered by slower storage devices.

"Since the day we invented it more than 35 years ago, flash memory has been a dynamic force propelling innovation forward," noted Alex Mei, vice president of corporate marketing for KIOXIA America, Inc. "Wih groundbreaking technologies such as PCIe® 5.0 and EDSFF SSDs, we empower our customers to not only elevate application performance but also drive down total cost of ownership, all while fostering a more sustainable future."

A Diamond-level conference sponsor, KIOXIA has collaborated with Dell Technologies for more than 20 years to create best-in-class data storage solutions. KIOXIA products can be found optimizing Dell Technologies solutions across multiple business lines, including laptop/mobile computing, desktop, cloud, enterprise servers and storage.

Demonstrations will be located in the KIOXIA booth #436 on the show floor at The Venetian Resort® from May 20 - 23. A strong focus will be placed on PCIe 5.0 SSDs, showing the benefits over PCIe 4.0 SSDs in a variety of real-world server and storage configurations/workload combinations.

Demonstrations on Dell Technologies platforms include:

  • KIOXIA CD8 Series Data Center U.2 NVMeTM SSDs running SUSE® Harvester hyperconverged infrastructure
  • KIOXIA CM7 Series Enterprise E3.S NVMe SSDs running Milvus® Vector Database for AI workloads
