Inspur Group Launches Public Security Cloud Computing Center


BEIJING, Nov 09, 2012 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Inspur Group announced the comprehensive launch of a cloud computing center for the Public Security Bureau (PSB) of Jinan city on November 7.

This is the first large-scale cloud computing center that is officially put into operation in the public security system of China.

It is reported that the Jinan-based cloud computing center, by basing on the public security intranet, internet, private image network and security access network and relying on five platforms respectively for storage, network, security, application and management purpose, will focus on the development of applications for public security service for command, intelligence, criminal investigation, public order, residency administration, network supervision and technical surveillance so as to develop into a energy-saving, efficient, safe and reliable cloud computing center.



According to introduction, the original 154 application systems and more than 3 billion data information will be operated at the cloud terminal after the launch of the cloud computing center. Back-stage management work of the system, which takes about half a month to finish before, can now be completed in ten minutes.
