IFG Companies Announces the Addition of Joseph P. Hoffmann as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer


IFG Companies (www.ifgcompanies.com) is pleased to announce the addition of Joseph P. Hoffmann (Joe) as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Hoffmann, who will be located in IFG's Chicago office, will report to Christopher Lewis, Group President, and will serve as a member of IFG's executive leadership team. Joe will be responsible for the continued advancement of the IFG finance team, while supporting IFG's long-term vision to grow book value and optimize risk-adjusted returns through profitable growth. Joe comes to IFG with over 19 years of demonstrated success in finance roles.

Mr. Hoffmann began his career at Arthur Andersen, LLP in Dallas, Texas, with clients that included large, publicly-traded exploration and production companies, energy service providers and a multinational telecom supplier. Joe then assumed greater levels of responsibility in finance positions within KPMG, Aon, PLC and most recently Ryan Specialty Group, LLC, where he spent the last six years in various national and international capacities.

Joe is a Certified Public Accountant, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington and earned a Juris Doctor degree in Law from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago.
