Huawei launches performance acceleration solutions for Oracle database

Jan 09, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., an information and communications technology solutions provider, has launched performance acceleration solutions for the Oracle database, which seeks to address core business performance bottlenecks for enterprise customers.

Huawei's Performance Acceleration Solutions for the Oracle Database apply hot data migration technology, based on its integrated storage T series and high-performance SSS Dorado, in coordination with Oracle Automatic Storage Management and flash cache features.

The series reduces transaction response time by up to 82% and data analysis time by up to 72%, increasing concurrent usage by up to 23 times. With this technology, users are able to complete more business transactions and improve economic efficiency per time unit, the company said.

"Huawei has worked effectively to develop and deliver pre-tested, validated, and production-ready configurations running Oracle Linux and Oracle VM through the Oracle Validated Configuration and Hardware qualification programs.
