"Indian classical music is one of the oldest living musical traditions in world. What differentiates it from other genres is that there is no written, restrictive script, allowing each artist the freedom to innovate and perform within the set framework of notes and rules governing their use. Innovation is the bedrock of the HCL values and as such we find a perfect synergy in the celebration of Indian classical performing arts, and its globalization."
