Bloomera Receives Cultivation License from Health CanadaBloomera (or the "Company") is pleased to announce it has received its license to cultivate medical cannabis from Health Canada under the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR). Obtaining this license marks a significant milestone for Bloomera. The Company expects to begin cultivation at its facility in the coming weeks and then request a pre-sales inspection with Health Canada, the last stage prior to receiving an amendment to the license that enables sales of dried flower. Bloomera's 20,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-artindoor facility is located only 30km from downtown Toronto, in Markham, serving as a prime distribution hub to the east coast and Canada's most populous market (Greater Toronto Area). The facility is capable of producing over 2,000 kg of dried cannabis per year, and the Company is already working on extraction and R&D based strategies aimed at supporting the development of proprietary cannabis oil formulations and non-flower product types for both the medical and future adult-use market. With the first facility licensed to cultivate, Bloomera is actively engaged in seeking a land package for the purposes of constructing a significantly larger dutch-style hybrid greenhouse that will serve as the foundation of the Company's low cost production operations. Bloomera anticipates announcing further details on its current operations and second site expansion plan in the coming months.
