ARC Churches Recaps Launch EventsThe ARC (Association of Related Churches) held a successful recent ARC Launch training event-the first step for prospective ARC church planters looking to start a new congregation. The training event was held from November 7-8 at Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, Alabama. More than 100 people attended, including potential planters of future ARC churches, existing pastors, campus pastors, and ARC church leaders from across the country. The aim of the recent ARC Launch training event-and the aim of all ARC Launch training events-was to expose attendees to the best practices for planting a church with the Association of Related Churches. ARC Launches are geared towards ARC church planters. That said, many leaders at existing churches also attend so they may learn, train, and receive tools that could help their local church community thrive. Pastors from other ARC churches were there to help lead the attendees through important topics. Leaders included Mayo Sowell of , Aaron Burke of Radiant Church in Tampa, Florida, Garrett Booth of Grace Church in League City, Texas, Marc Poland of Discover Church in Philadelphia, Layne Schranz of Church of the Highlands, and Ross Parsley of One Chapel in Austin, Texas. Areas of focus at the ARC Launch included topics such as how to recruit for a strong launch, how to build your brand and marketing plan, managing finances for ARC church planters, how to create a growth track, the impact of outreach, church government basics, general leadership, and much more. The ARC (Association of Related Churches) has created a proven launch model that has been used by hundreds of churches across the world. Launching new ARC churches allows pastors to access resources that make starting a thriving church community possible. During ARC Launch training events, attendees receive the "nuts and bolts" of launching a new ARC church. This is the first step in working with ARC to get a new congregation off the ground. Once leaders are approved to launch with ARC, they receive continued training through an online platform that provides extensive resources and education. Training topics include team building, recruiting, church government, marketing and branding, budgeting, timeline, anti-harassment procedures, and more. One of the biggest aspects of launching with ARC (Association of Related Churches) is the community of supportive people who help guide new pastors through the process of launching a new church. This collaborative effort ensures that new ARC churches are established as life-giving resources for communities. ARC Launch event dates for 2024 are already scheduled for January 30-31 in Birmingham, Alabama, March 12-13 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, May 14-15 in Dallas, August 20-21 in Orange County, California, and November 12-13 in Birmingham.
