Ashton Kutcher Seeks Revenge against Twitter Hacker

By Miguel Leiva-Gomez, TMCnet Contributor

After an attack on his Twitter (News - Alert) account, Ashton Kutcher said on Sunday night that he swears revenge on the hacker to whom he fell victim. Kutcher’s account was allegedly compromised that weekend by someone who wanted to make things difficult for him since his entry into the TV show, “Two and a Half Men.”

The tweets were supposedly about a friend who people believed Kutcher to be dating, named Lorene Scafaria. Here’s one of the tweets by the hacker: “First official sleepover with my girl @lorenescafaria so maybe breakfast with everyone next time! (@ Lorene’s House).”

Kutcher caught the hacker in the act and immediately deleted the tweets from his feed, although it was still seen by his 9 million followers. After that, the fire only got bigger. The hacker later infiltrated his Foursquare (News - Alert) account and revealed his location as being Kutcher’s. The actor responded to this with a tweet, showing an image of the hacker’s own Foursquare account.

Ashton Kutcher is known for being a very tech-savvy person and a prankster. He just put his scope on the hacker, and it seems like his fans are giving him positive reinforcement.

Recently, there have been several hackers on Twitter and other social networks with another scope in mind. A hacking group called Anonymous infiltrates networks in order to spread a message against those who promote anti-piracy. NBC’s Twitter account also got hacked by another group known as “The Script Kiddies.” The term “script kiddy” refers to a person who doesn’t know how to program his or her own utilities, but uses those that others have made to achieve a goal.
