ITEXPO (News - Alert), taking place in Las Vegas from August 27 to 29, offers companies a chance to network, learn, and share their thoughts on the latest technologies. In addition, top executives from different companies discuss emerging trends like what the future holds for the business world across the globe.
Earthlink (News - Alert), a well-known IT services and communications provider in the U.S., is one of many companies who will be present at the event. It offers services such as cloud hosting, virtualization, web hosting and managed services for its corporate customers and services such as VoIP, dial-up Internet, ecommerce, web hosting and broadband services for its individual customers.
Specifically, Earthlink will showcase its products at booth #131 with a particular focus this year on cloud storage and management services. These cloud offerings are where the company believes the current trend is in technology.
In tune with this effort, Earthlink's Ron Penna, the man behind its cloud computing division, will be giving a speech in two panel sessions. The topics he will be covering include, “Do Your Customers Trust Your Cloud?” and “Business Value of Mobile Cloud.” Through these sessions, Penna plans to address the challenges and opportunities of cloud computing.
As the cloud computing industry is exploding, it makes sense for Earthlink to tap into this huge market. In fact, according to the inforgraphic below from Mad Graphics, 80 percent of companies reported increased productivity after migrating operations to cloud and 47 percent of companies witnessed lower operational costs after their migration.
