By Ashley Caputo, TMCnet Web Editor

Every business is trying to discover a new marketing strategy that will put them at the forefront of their industry by taking its interaction with the digital world to heightened levels of advancement.

With the latest advertisement push for consumers to watch Disney’s (News - Alert) Iron Man 3 in 3D, in which Marvel has revealed four different 3D glasses designs that will be available when it releases in May, there is a clear shift in the film industry towards creating a more action-packed experience.

Filmmakers and box office marketing teams have to discover a new to re-invent the traditional movie theater experience by fusing it with the latest technologies, like 3D. Even the mobile industry has introduced a 3D infused device, the iPhone 3D Movie Viewer , and converts an iPhone (News - Alert) into a 3D experience once the phone is slipped into its special casing.

The ability to convert a regular movie into 3D creates a whole new action-filled, engaging movie experience for the users. It also makes the idea of watching a movie on your iPhone more attractive, as the small doesn’t provide the same qualities as a larger one.

Although the thought of holding the 3D Movie Viewer in your hand for more than 60 minutes doesn’t sound too enticing, even with its soft silicon rubber casing, it does shed light on the need for the industry to ramp up a viewers experience. This is just the beginning of this type of development for mobile devices, and the idea of having this type of movie experience no matter where you are.

Even the television industry has been trying to change its views experience by creating “Social TV.” This new marketing strategy, in which consumers can use an app to connect with other people watching the same shows, aims to put television back in the race within the entertainment industry, which is now compiled by social media forums.

This type of social media interaction could even be incorporated into the film industry to create a more “social” experience for consumers.

With the many changes that the industries are undergoing, there is a clear need for each one to redesign their platform in order to create a new way that consumers can experience and engage with their products. As each new mobile device and social application enter the market, it is vital that the industries use technology to their advantage as well.
