Threesome Grandstream, TeleDynamics and RingByName Form Strategic Alliance

By Jamie Epstein, TMCnet Web Editor

You know the saying, “There is strength in numbers?” Apparently, this statement couldn’t be more true, as just yesterday, it was revealed that Grandstream Networks, an IP voice/video telephony hardware provider; TeleDynamics, a wholesale distributor of telecommunications products; and RingByName, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) developer and unified communications provider, have joined forces in order to promote the RingByNames’s Biz in a Box (News - Alert) solution.

Targeted to those attempting to sell to the small business space such as VARs and dealers, Biz in a Box is hosted in the cloud and is an ultra reliable mobility offering that seamlessly integrates a PBX (News - Alert) telephone system with VoIP. In most scenarios, smaller sized firms unfortunately don’t have as much capital available to them as major corporations, which is why this solution is key, as it brings robust capabilities previously attainable directly to the fingertips of the little guys.

In addition, Biz in a Box features a built-in CRM tool, as well as both desktop and mobile apps. While the desktop application enables employees to easily manage and track calls directly from their computer –  starting when the incoming call is initially received – the mobile app lets users still access features found within the communications platform from anywhere and at any time.

Kent Terpe, director of Channels & Alliances, said in a statement, “Biz in a Box breaks all the rules on price, features, functionality and ease of use. Now small businesses can leverage enterprise-grade unified communications features previously reserved for the largest companies with simplicity and affordability through the cloud. Biz in a Box delivers the most advanced functionality along with low operating costs without the upfront hardware and installation costs. With RingByName, the customer provides the broadband connection and we provide the rest, including FREE SIP Dect or HD desktop phones with a one-year commitment combined with shrinking rate plans and a 30-day money back guarantee. Our approach allows any business to stay ahead of the technological curve at the lowest total cost of ownership in the industry.”

Complete with the ability to drive collaboration amongst geographically separated workforces, which can in turn drive customer satisfaction rates through the roof, the threesome are working together to truly redefine the value of unified communications to every organization, no matter how big or small.

Brad Gonzalez of TeleDynamics added, “With the rapidly growing small business market and explosion of related SIP technology, our partnership with RingByName strengthens and expands our small office product portfolio and gives our resellers an avenue to offer their customers a free turn-key VoIP solution that will enhance customer productivity and reduce operating costs.”

Through developing a turnkey, plug and play solution, dealers and VARs alike can now buy all of their telephony gear from a single entity while being keenly aware of all of the functionalities it possesses. All three of these enterprises know the importance of making intuitive products easy to use as well as sell, and will be showcasing its suite at ITEXPO (News - Alert) Miami 2013, happening now.
