TMC's Pioneering Customer Interaction Solutions Magazine Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary

Norwalk, CT (May 29, 2012) —Today,  TMC, a global, integrated media company helping clients build communities in print, in person and online, announced its founding magazine Customer Interaction Solutions marked its 30th anniversary this year and will honor the hallmark with a special anniversary edition. Launched in 1982 as Telemarketing magazine, Customer Interaction Solutions is the premier publication covering contact center, CRM and teleservices industries.



Customer Interaction Solutions has been the voice of the telesales and teleservices industries since its launch three decades ago. Under the guidance and vision of Nadji Tehrani, TMC’s (News - Alert) founder and Chairman, the pages of the magazine have tracked the evolution of the contact center through technological advancements that revolutionized the way companies interact with their customers and potential customers. Tehrani founded the magazine on a hunch with no previous experience in “electronic marketing”. He coined the term “telemarketing” and was recognized by the ATA Hall of Fame in 2005 as the “Teleservices Industry Founder, Leader and Visionary” and “Father of the Contact Center Industry”.

The tribute will also include a reflection of years past from the people that have contributed to its success. Editors including Greg Galitzine (News - Alert), Tracey Schelmetic, Linda Driscoll, Tim Searcy and others will provide their own take on the evolution of the industry.
