Norwalk, CT – January 23, 2009 - Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) and Microsoft Corporation today announced that Microsoft General Manager John Frederiksen will deliver a keynote address at ITEXPO (News - Alert) East 2009 in Miami on Tuesday, February 3rd at 10:00 AM.


 
John Frederiksen is the new General Manager of Response Point, Microsoft’s (News - Alert) IP-based phone system software for small businesses.  John leads the Response Point team’s Product Development, Marketing and Business Development organizations - with a charter to bring advanced communications and collaboration to small businesses. In his Keynote address, he will discuss investing in innovation and how firms that are committed to innovation drive their businesses forward.

Frederiksen is a 15 year veteran of Microsoft, with broad experiences in Product Management and Services. He directed Microsoft Services Product Management and Marketing groups, delivering the marketing needs of Microsoft’s 15,000 employee-strong Enterprise Support and Consulting Services business.  He also has managed the microsoft.com website, which is one of the world’s busiest online properties.  Earlier in his career, he owned Product Management for Windows Client, the Windows Server businesses and he lead the launches of Windows XP and Windows 2000 Server.   John holds a BSEE from Lehigh University and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
