Gordon Kroft Joins Centerview Partners


Centerview Partners, a leading independent investment banking advisory firm, announced today that Gordon Kroft has joined the firm as a Partner in its New York office. Mr. Kroft joins Centerview from Citigroup, where he most recently served as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Citi's Global Communications and Media Group.

Gordon Kroft brings more than 25 years of experience in investment banking across M&A advisory and debt and equity origination. He has worked on many landmark communications and communications infrastructure transactions over his career, including the creation of Equinix's x-Scale platform as well as its acquisitions of Infomart, Bell Canada's data centers and Entel's data centers; Radius's $3 billion sale to EQT and PSP; Lumen 's $7.5 billion sale of certain ILEC assets to Apollo; Lightower's $7.1 billion sale to Crown Castle; Verizon's $3.6 billion sale of its data center business to Equinix and its $1.8 billion acquisition of XO Communications; Level 3's $34 billion sale to CenturyLink, among many others. Prior to joining Citi in 2013, Mr. Kroft served as Head of Americas Telecom at Barclays Capital, and he began his career in Lehman Brothers' Communications and Media practice. Mr. Kroft holds an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business, a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba.
