Teridion Expands Executive Leadership Team to Meet Growing Global Demand for its Internet Overlay Network Solution


Teridion, the company pioneering high performance Internet overlay networks for SaaS (News - Alert) providers, today announced it has named two new vice presidents to its executive leadership team to help the company meet growing global demand for its Internet overlay network solution.

Teridion has named former Telecom New Zealand (News - Alert) and XO Communications sales executive Morgan Closson as its new VP of Global Sales. In this role, Mr. Closson is responsible for direct and channel sales worldwide. In addition, the company has named Pejman Roshan (News - Alert), former Aruba, Cisco and ShoreTel product and marketing executive, as its new VP of Products and Marketing. Mr. Roshan is charged with driving product strategy and management, as well as leading go to market for the company.

About Morgan Closson

Mr. Closson brings a 20-year track record of success in network sales leadership experience to his role as VP of Global Sales at Teridion. His prior roles include running Asia Pacific Wholesale for Telecom New Zealand (now dba Spark New Zealand), driving both International and West Coast domestic Wholesale for XO Communications (News - Alert) (now a Verizon Company), and directing the West Region for Fastly. Mr. Closson's accomplishments include turning Asia Pacific into the top-performing region for Telecom New Zealand, growing International and West Coast domestic into the top region for XO Communications, and leading the West Region into becoming the top-performing region for Fastly. He holds a bachelor's degree from Loyola Marymount University, a master's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a certificate of management from Waikato University of New Zealand.


About Pejman Roshan

Mr. Roshan joins Teridion as VP of Products and Marketing with more than 20 years of experience in marketing and product management. Prior to joining Teridion, Mr. Roshan ran product management for the Aruba Networks business unit responsible for delivery of cloud network management. Previously, he served as the vice president of product management at ShoreTel, as a result of the acquisition of Agito Networks, where he was the chief marketing officer and co-founder. Before founding Agito, Mr. Roshan held various product management and marketing roles in the Cisco Systems (News - Alert) Wireless Networking Business Unit. His accomplishments include participation in the IEEE 802.11 task groups responsible for security (802.11i) and QoS (802.11e); and co-authoring "802.11 Wireless LAN Fundamentals," published by Cisco Press in 2004. He is the author of several wireless networking patents, and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic (Cal Poly) University.
