KeyMe Strengthens its Board of Directors with the Addition of James G. Moorhead

KeyMe, the leading resource for total access and key management that is fundamentally changing the way millions of people make and manage their keys, announced today the appointment of James G. Moorhead to the board of directors. This is the latest in a series of moves KeyMe has made to bolster its leadership as it rapidly scales and builds the most trusted brand in the industry.

"KeyMe is building the first-ever national brand in the key duplication and access services industry," said Greg Marsh, CEO and founder of KeyMe. "James' track record of transforming brands like Old Spice into household names is going to be incredibly valuable as we take KeyMe to the next level in this $10B/yr category."

Moorhead currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Metromile, a start-up focused on a pay-per-mile car insurance model, where he is responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, customer service and claims. He also sits on the board of directors of Cenveo, Inc., a diversified manufacturer of print-related products including envelopes, custom labels, commercial print, and publisher solutions.

"KeyMe is reinventing the way people gain access to their homes, vehicles and other prperty, vastly improving the customer experience and driving significant incremental foot traffic to its retail partners," said James Moorhead. "This is a win-win, both for the consumer that wants to have a problem immediately solved and for our retail partners who want to drive traffic to locations."

Moorhead was previously at Dish Network, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to Dish Network he spent 12 years at Procter and Gamble (P&G) where he led iconic brands including Old Spice, Gillette, Prilosec OTC, and Vicks, as well as ad campaigns that won 14 Cannes Lions, eight Effies, and one Emmy, including two Cannes Grand Prix and the Grand Effie.

Moorhead adds to an already high-caliber board and executive team at KeyMe, including recent hires Jessica Harley, CMO, formerly of Etsy and Gilt Groupe (News - Alert) and Jimmy Abbott, CFO, previously at Amazon and Zappos.com.
