GBH Insights, a leading market research and custom analytics firm, today announced the appointments of Javier Flaim and Jeremy Korst to its Advisory Board. Mr. Flaim, who most recently served as CEO of clean technology platform Recyclebank, brings significant marketing innovation and research expertise to the team. Mr. Korst is an acclaimed technology executive who has held prominent roles at Microsoft (News - Alert) and T-Mobile.

Mr. Korst has significant experience in leveraging market intelligence and advanced analytics to drive company strategy. Korst was most recently Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Avalara, a quickly growing B2B SaaS (News - Alert) company. Prior to joining Avalara, Korst was General Manager of Microsoft's Windows & Devices marketing group, responsible for the worldwide marketing and sales of Windows to consumers, businesses, and governments. He and his team lead the highly successful global launch of Windows 10, driving the quickest adoption of a new version of Windows ever. Korst has also held leadership positions in marketing, product management and finance at T-Mobile, AT&T Wireless, Standard & Poor's and PricewaterhouseCoopers (News - Alert). Korst serves on several company and university boards, including the Executive Board at the Wharton School.

Before joining Recyclebank, Mr. Flaim was Partner and Executive Vice President of Innovation at Maddock Douglas, an innovation consulting firm, where he was responsible for helping both Fortune 50 and startup organizations develop and launch industry-changing products and services. Flaim joined Maddock Douglas when it acquired Markitecture, where he served as CEO. Previously, Flaim held leadership positions at Hill Holliday (News - Alert) Advertising and Yankelovich/Copernicus where he developed a keen interest in understanding consumer behavior and behavioral economics through state-of-the-science qualitative and quantitative market research methods.
