Data Cubed Wins Semi-Finalist Spot for App Designed to Fight Opioid Addiction

BROOKLYN, N.Y., May 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Data Cubed, Inc. a life-science technology company, has been selected as a semi-finalist in the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Opioid Challenge for its Resilience IQ (ResQ) app, highlighting the potential use of video game technology to help prevent relapse in people recovering from opioid addiction.

The ResQ app mobilizes an individual's social support network to intervene at times when the risk of relapse is greatest. It was one of five technology solutions selected by the Opioid Challenge, an innovation challenge intended to find technology-enabled tools to support and connect individuals affected by opioid addiction. Data Cubed's entry was selected from among 97 competitors.
