Keiretsu Forum Northwest and E8 to Co-Present the 5th Annual "Impact Investing Forum," Featuring Cleantech and Impact Companies, May 23, at the Seattle Washington Athletic Club, 2:30-7:00 PM

Keiretsu Forum's Northwest Region announced today the company will align with E8, the mission-based cleantech angel group, to present innovative success strategies and companies for cleantech and impact investing, at their 5th Annual "Impact Investing Forum," to be held May 23, 2018 at Seattle's Washington Athletic Club, from 2:30-7:00 pm. The event is the first time the two investment groups have collaborated to bring an educational forum focused on impact investing to regional investors who want their dollars to make a positive difference in the world.

Attendees will receive unique access to presentations and insights from experienced impact investors and money managers who will share compelling examples of industry investments that have generated outstanding returns, and their journey from investment analysis to exit. Impact investment opportunities will also be introduced. Attendees will hear from companies that offer investors the potential to experience quadruple results: Enhanced profits; a healthier planet; helping people in need; and increased sustainability in our everyday lives and corporate enterprises.

"The Impact Investing Forum is an excellent and rare venue for investors who want to learn new ways their funding dollars can make a broader and scalable impact, not only on market return, but also to our global well-being," said Brianna McDonald, President of the Keiretsu Forum (News - Alert) Northwest Region. "E8 is an outstanding, national leader in cleantech and sustainability investing and performance. We are roud to partner with an organization whose values, collaborative spirit and funding philosophies mirror ours. Their involvement in this year's forum heightens the value for all involved."

According to the company, the Impact Investing Forum is not only valuable for current investors, but also active philanthropists, who like to see their dollars bring value to important causes, when they choose to invest in impact companies. For-profit companies are built with the ability to scale; therefore, helping to expand the potential positive impact an investor can have on the world.

"The first company I ever invested in was an impact company. I loved the fact that my dollars went toward positively impacting the planet and people around the globe. I was investing in alignment with my values. I had the potential to do well financially, while contributing to a better world," added McDonald. "We want to bring this same multi-faceted reward to Keiretsu Forum members and others in the local community who are interested in making a positive difference with their investments."

Impact Investing Forum is free to Keiretsu Forum and E8 members. Nonmembers can purchase early-bird tickets for $50 prior to May 18; tickets purchased after this date or at the door will cost $100. A networking reception will be held at the conclusion of the event. Contact Xoe Heeney to register at [email protected] or call (206) 529-3687.
