Disneynature Joins EarthxOcean at World's Largest Environmental Expo, Conference and Film Festival in Dallas


Disneynature will join EarthX and Mission Blue at the EarthxOcean Conference on Sunday, April 22 at historic Fair Park in Dallas.

As part of the world's largest environmental expo, conference and film festival, EarthxOcean brings together world-renowned scientists, business and non-profit leaders, and government representatives to address the inland connection to the ocean during a conference, exhibition and banquet. Disneynature will speak to the importance of inspiring all audiences by creating fun, entertaining content, inviting viewers to learn and care about extraordinary stories in nature.

"Disneynature celebrates our natural world by bringing to the big screen the most intimate stories of wildlife from around the world, inspiring future scientists, conservationists, and explorers," said Paul Baribault, Vice President of Disneynature. Experts from around the globe will provide a full day of interactive plenary panels, discussion groups and workshops on critical ocean issues where attendees engage with speakers. EarthxOcean is part of the EarthX experience - an offering of science, technology, film, art, music and discussion to advance conservation and innovation concerning the environment.

Notable speakers are confirmed from 10 countries - Norway, Japan, New Zealand, China, Netherlands, France, Canada, United Kingdom, Kiribati and the United States.

Along with Dr. Sylvia Earle, they include His Excellency Tommy Remengesau, President of Palau; Dr. Dawn Wright, Chief Scientst at Esri; Dr. Ved Chirayath, Research Scientist at NASA Ames Research Center; and Dr. Timothy Bouley, Climate Change and Health Program Lead at The World Bank.
